Where do we start? Absolutely amazing! After having to postpone twice before we finally got married on 21.05.21 and had the pleasure of having Over The Threshold play for us in the evening. Due to the restrictions we only had a 2 piece acoustic set but couldn’t fault it! Music was great and everyone enjoyed it so much. The guys were so lovely too! The band was amazing from start to finish and they played to what the crowd was dancing to or requesting. Sound quality was brilliant and the mix of singing live and having dj songs was brill. Couldn't recommend these guys enough. They would have stayed until the end but everyone was shattered.

They were so friendly and approachable and even brought our 1 year old son to the stage to play with their drum and drum stick.....above and beyond all expectations. Over The Threshold were recommended to us by a friend who had attended a wedding where they had played. We thought their set list was varied and that there was something for everyone. Their communication was prompt and their service was fantastic value for money. Our guests had nothing but praise for the band and it was so lovely to see our friends and family mingling and enjoying themselves on the dance floor. These guys are amazing!!! - book them! I was a bit apprehensive because we couldn't see them play before the wedding but there is absolutely nothing to worry about! They were better than we could have ever imagined - they had the whole wedding party dancing and jumping all night, no one wanted them to leave or for the night to end. Truly awesome!

You guys were absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for playing at our wedding, you really finished off our special day with a bang! Over the Threshold are an extremely professional band from the moment we first contacted them to the moment our day ended. They are really easy to get hold off and they're fast at replying to emails which makes resolving issues that much quicker and easier. Even with their prices cheaper than the average, this did not mean they lacked in quality! They offer amazing deals and because of this, we were able to have an hour free of acoustics in the afternoon and the total price still being £500 less than any other band we looked into. The band were abosultely fantastic. Brilliant, tight musicians playing top tunes and packing the dance floor for hours. Exacly what you want at your wedding! On top of this (and arguably as important as being good at their job!) they were absolute gentlemen: amenable to last minute changes, generous with our song requests and great at communicating in the run up. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone for their wedding, or for any party that required a top covers band!

Wow! That’s what everyone said when Over the Threshold’s singer and guitarist played a solo set for us in the afternoon at our wedding… great choice of songs and a beautiful performance… and that was just the start! Our wedding party included 10 muso’s who have been playing in bands over the last 20 or so years so have a pretty good understand of whether a band are any good or not and unanimously agreed - these guys were hot! OTT totally smashed it out of the park to the point that the Portbyhan Hotel hosting our reception had to turn away people walking past who wanted to join the party!! OTT learned a number of songs just for our big day and from the delicate opening notes to our first dance, Love Walked In by Thunder to the scorching guitar solo in Gun’s and Roses’ Sweet Child Of Mine, they had everyone dropping their best moves on the dance floor and singing along to hit after hit - this was definitely an ‘all killer, no filler’ performance. I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone wanting a wedding or party band - booking and agreeing requirements was handled quickly, courteously and efficiently and the performance itself was outstanding!!!

Would 100% recommend this band to play at your wedding. We absolutely loved them, they learnt our first dance perfectly and would learn others if requested. Play list is amazing and will get anyone on the dance floor. I'm just sad the wedding is over as I want to hear them again.

We knew we wanted live music at our wedding at Tunnels Beaches so searched for local bands and were over the moon with over the threshold! Amazing talent between the 3 of them and a unique set list that everyone commented on as being ‘not typical wedding’ which we loved! Ed’s voice was rocking the place at night but also perfect for the laid back acoustic set he performed after the ceremony (people didn’t realise it was the same guy). All the liaising beforehand went very smoothly and hey even let me (the bride) join them for a few songs which was so much fun! We couldn’t be happier with them and would definitely recommend having them at your next party!
